Sarah, Roselyn and Mulika (see next slide) are junior primary school pupils at the school we have been supporting and scholarship recipients from our previous cycle.
These girls love to learn and be present in class as much as they can but for so long, their parents could not afford their fees and would often beg the school to let them study, even if it’s 1 day a week.
This resulted in one repeating the class as failure to pay the fees often meant missing the exams while the others repeated because they couldn’t catch up.
Since receiving their 1-year scholarships, they have been happily active in class and are thankful to benefit from our Back-to-Class Educational Support program.
