We had an exciting time on Friday, March 31st, and we will tell you why.
During our assessment visit to the 2nd location of the school in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria, we took a boat ride to where 127 children awaited our arrival.
While there, we spent time interacting with the children in different class groups and learned about how many children have to repeat classes, every session, due to lack of funds for school fees and examination fee.
Imagine being stuck repeating classes because your parents can’t pay your fees, even though you are capable of passing the exam.
Then, we announced our Back-to-Class Educational Support Program provisions for them in the new term, which includes a Computer Studies class, school shoes, writing materials & scholarships for the top best students, many thanks to WeAreCohere.
After a successful assessment visit and data collection, we look forward to an amazing resumption with a whole new level of learning for our children
