We are pleased to announce that 15 children, in a community school for migrants in Lagos, are recipients of our Back to School intensive program
On November 14, 2022, the school received funding to pay for the school fees of 15 children in Nursery and Primary classes, following the success of our Back to School outreach program 3 weeks ago, where 48 children received writing materials to support their education.
Thanks to our donors who supported our Back to School intensive program for refugee and migrant children, these pupils will be able to continue their studies and write all their examinations as well.
In his appreciation remark, the Founder of the school, Mr James, said:
“You have no idea what you have done for these children, for me and for everyone in this community. You have made a huge impact in the children’s lives. I envisioned a community of educated children when I set up the school and that is the impact I always strive to make. It is very encouraging to know that you are working towards that vision. Thank you so much, Madam Jasmine. God bless you and all of Caring Hands’ supporters. Thank you so much.”
In her response, the Executive Director of Caring Hands Empowerment Foundation said:
“Education is very important for every child and we are going to keep working towards ensuring that we make impact in the lives of the children we support through education. We are happy and proud to support their learning and we will keep working towards ensuring these children and more children get the help they need to become educated.”
Caring Hands Empowerment Foundation (CHEF) works to support young refugees with the help they need through educational support and through our Love packs to make them feel loved and appreciated.
